Support our School
Giving
Thank you for your interest in supporting Saint Clement School! We invite you to explore this section of our website and learn how your stewardship gift can make a difference. Whether you are alumni, a current school family, parents of alumni, a parishioner interested in supporting Catholic education at Saint Clement School, or a Lincoln Park neighbor, your gift is appreciated!
Ways to Give:
Our Parish principle of Stewardship is alive and well at Saint Clement School. Our children pray together, serve together, give together and learn together. They gather as a community of learners and cultivate a powerful sense of belonging. Every day they share their many God-given gifts and talents freely, by serving the community and one another as they learn and grow.
It is only fitting that we follow their example and share our blessings freely with one another. As a community, we can meet the fundraising and volunteer needs of Saint Clement School and deepen our own sense of belonging.
If you are a school parent, we ask you to please make Saint Clement your top charitable giving priority while your child is with us. You can do so by supporting each of the three main Giving Anchors. The Giving Anchors are how we put our values into action as a faith community and cultivate our own sense of belonging. To see the impact of your giving, read the 2024 Impact & Gratitude Report.
Saint Clement School is an archdiocesan parish school supported by Saint Clement Church. We do not receive financial support from The Archdiocese of Chicago. As a 501(C)(3) not-for-profit institution, gifts to Saint Clement School (Federal Tax ID # 36-3158705) are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Gifts are recognized on a fiscal year basis – July 1 to June 30.
Annual Fund
Each year Saint Clement School relies on the Annual Fund to bridge the expected gap between tuition revenue and the cost to operate Saint Clement School. In lieu of higher tuition, the expectation is that every school family participates in the Annual Fund at the financial level that they are able. Once the operating budget is balanced, contributions will go toward important initiatives that will help to improve our school. Possible uses for these funds include safety improvements, teacher retention and recruitment, the tuition assistance program, enhancing science and social studies curriculum, continued funding of the middle school academic lab and addressing any direct and immediate needs in the school.
Legacy. Community. Future. Campaign
Now is the time to come together as a parish family to build upon the legacy of those who came before us, strengthen our community, and invest in the future.
Anchor Ball
Anchor Ball is our fundraising gala that raises money for both our church and school while also celebrating our amazing community. We are excited to announce the date for our next Anchor Ball! Please mark your calendars!

Anchor Ball 2024 Recap
From a near record-setting attendance, to some furious bidding in the silent auction, to an overwhelming response to our Paddle Raise, we cannot thank you enough for your generosity this year. We blew through our $300,000 goal for the Paddle Raise and are happy to report that we'll be continuing to support our Child First team in the school AND are able to continue supporting our various ministries, including the newly reopened Madonna House. It was a close competition, but Team Peter aka Team Travis won by a hair!
We also want to once again congratulate Ellen and Chip Mulaney, Ellen Slauson and Ed Walsh, and Molly and Steve Luthman on their Anchor Ball Honoree Award! We are grateful for their leadership and commitment to our Clement community. Thank you again for a truly magical evening as a parish family.
Giving - Service Hours
Opportunities
Whether you have a lot of time or a little, you can help! And you will make a difference. We rely on parents to coordinate many of our social, educational, spiritual, and charitable events throughout the year, including the always fun class dinners, and Anchor Ball. This is a great way to get to know parents across all grade levels, and also get some of your volunteer hours in! General volunteer opportunities include: homeless lunches, teacher supply inventory, service day, welcome family committee, and more. Classroom/grade specific opportunities: room parent, library reader, field trip chaperone, and more. You are a parent community of many talents, and we invite you to share these talents with us in myriad ways:
